Q tips

Recently in our house Court has had many days of his Q-tip jar disappearing. The culprit has been found, but how can you get mad at him.

Heads up.

When we moved back to Utah and moved in our Dimond Dr house I found a playhouse for the kids. Ok it was also for me. I've always wanted a playhouse. This playhouse is not small it is built like a real home with siding and shingles. Since it is not small it is not very easy to move to get it in our backyard we had to get a crane to get it in the yard.

Of course we had to take the playhouse with us to our new house so I had to find someone that could move it for us. It was quit the show. Everything went good nothing damaged but it was sure stressful when the house barely fit under telephone wires when driving it to the new house.

East High

On the way to the zoo we go past the famous High School musical East Highschool. I have always wanted to stop and take the kids inside, since we were going by it we decided to stop.

We Walked around the school checking doors. We actually found a door open. We went inside and found the lunch room that they use in the show. There were workers waxing the upstairs floor so we could not get upstairs to check out the other places they filmed the show like the lockers and the gym. They said to come next week when they were done. We peeked down the hall to see what we could see. The girls thought it was fun but we'll have to check it out another time when we have more freedom to roam. When we came home the girls turned on Highschool musical to check out some of the things they saw.

The winner is the monkey

Today we went to the Hogle Zoo with Grandma Lee. Everyone liked the Monkeys the best.

Ground hog

We are finally starting to settle in our new house. Packing and moving in two weeks is definitely too fast. We are adjusting to a few new things like Campbell not wanting to sleep in a crib anymore and climbing out of his bed. This week I guess the big boy bed is going to have to come out. We were happy to get all the kids in bed last night by 10. That tells you how crazy our nights have been. We live in a house full of night owls.

We our loving our house except for the unexpected guests that we have had. No, I'm not talking about Courts brother coming to visit, we loved having them over. The guest we have had came our first day in the home and Allison spotted something in the window well digging. I looked in thinking I would see a cat. It was the size of a fat cat, but not a cat . We were not sure what it was. We just new it was digging trying to get under our house. It was a bit freaky. The animal control would not come to get it. Court said to hit it with a shovel (ya right). My mom was throwing cups of water on it trying to do who knows what to it(it just made it look like a porcupine) Finally the ROUS (rodent of unusual size) jumped out of the window well making everyone scream, and then scurried down the street. What an eventful day.

Since our visit from the ground hog we have had a skunk sighting in the back yard and then we had to call a professional to suck out the bird nest in the dryer vent. I promise to all that want to visit we do not live in the wilderness just maybe a little to close to the Jordan River.

The new house

I sure wanted to keep up with this blog thing. It just is not happening. This last week has been very busy. We found a house that we liked and looked into it and now we are moving into it. this all happened within a week in a half. Wow it was quick. We are going to lease this house until our house sells and then we will buy it . The owner is very nice and is working with to help sell our house we own( he is a releator or however you spell it). It will be so nice I will not have to keep the house perfect for people to come view it, which those of you with children know it is impossible, at least with my children. We are excited but will miss everyone in our ward and neighborhood. The good part though is that the house is only about 2 miles away from our old house so we will still be able to see our friends and I may still keep the kids at the same school.
