Socks,socks,socks

I have found with 7 people in the house we accumulate a lot of socks. This is my least favorite job, sock sorting. For you mothers who are just starting out I would suggest you to get all your socks at one store. then you do not have millions of different kinds of socks. Walmart has some awesome ones that are have colored heels to tell you the size. For example blue heel is small etc etc...

Enough of my rambling I better go sort some socks.

Socks...ugh.

I have heard of two ideas I've been meaning to try...

Did you know they make small washable mesh bags that each child can put their socks and underware in? They goes strait in the laundry like that - no sorting. I've seen them before and WANTED them.

One lady told me that she leaves all the socks on the floor and tells the kids that they're there. The kids have to pull out their own. (I'm not sure how well this would work.)

Remember, these are just ideas I've be MEANING to try. :)

I think I'll just have them wear sandals so we don't have to wear socks.

I hate matching socks up too. I think this is a universal epidemic. Somewhere in the world is a pile of mismatched socks with someone laughing at all the frustration they have caused. Good luck!

I have a sock bucket. When folding laundry if the match is readily apparant, in the bucket it goes. When we don't have many socks to wear, I pull out the bucket and a good movie and go to folding! LOL! My mom groaned out loud when she saw it!

One of the Halloweentown movies had a scene where they were sorting mismatched socks, I could so relate!
