I took the kids to a Smart car rally. It was fun to see all the cars together.
This was my favorite car. Check out the actual size on the front of the car (very funny)
The girls liked the ladybug car.
The boys like the blue car. The Rally was sponsored by a radio station. They went to a few places around town and had some tours. The cars all parked at the garden and got tours through the garden.
The cars liked backing up into their parking spots. Must be easy to park a small car.

Bee's Bee's lots of bees!
We have a great garden this year. Things are growing like crazy. Certainly the pumpkins, I think we may get around 15.
We think these little bees have something to do with it. This is what it looks like in the back of the yard at the bottom of a shed which is in the neighbors yard. The bees have turned this hole into a honey hive. It is cool to watch them fly in and out. We don't want to kill them cause they are doing good but it is a pain with that many bees back there. The kids are good at just staying away from them. We've only had one kid stung. We will go through the winter and see what has happened to them next year and then we'll decide what to do. But for right now hurray for the bees.

Quilt Blocks
I have always wanted to make a quilt. I do not know how to quilt or even how to start until my friend Stephanie asked me if I wanted to be in a quilt block group. What this entailed was to make 10 blocks of two different blocks 20 in all. I decided this would be a great way to get started. Thanks to many people helping me I finally finished my 20 blocks. I had a great time making them.
The hardest part was finding time that I could work on it. the only way to get it done was to keep my sewing machine up in the corner of the kitchen so I could work on it when I had a free min. That worked out ok except for the boys always getting into my stuff. We had a few cuts on the boys from my rotary cutter and the boys broke my machine so I had to get that fixed half way through, but it sure worked good after getting it back. Other then that it was great. Here is some picture of my blocks I will keep two of these blocks and then will get 8 more from some other women. then I'll have to figure out how to put it all together. Hopefully sometime I will be able to post a picture of the quilt when it is done.
