Thanksgiving
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We had a nice day. The last few years we have gone to the Homestead with my parents for Thanksgiving meal. The Homestead is in Midway, Utah up by Park city. There is a hotel and a nice restaurant there that we go to that has a special dinner. It is a buffet so there is a little bit of everything. This year my parents went up the night before and slept. They took the three girls with them. We went up Thanksgiving morning and let all the kids swim. I think they liked that better then eating.
The kids favorite part of the meal is the chocolate fountain. Forget about the turkey. Who even likes turkey when there is a chocolate fountain. All my kids like green olives. Cannon ate quite a few of them he also discovered that they tasted even better dipped in chocolate. No joke he ate a few of them.
We all had a great day and ended the day with going to the movie theater and seeing Bolt. What a cute show. It is one of my favorite cartoons that have come out for a while. Good job Disney!

Nesting period
Campbell is in the nesting stage right now. He collects all the blankets he can find and then makes a big nest and lays, jumps and sits in it. It doesn't bother me much since it keeps him busy. But when he started figuring he could also pull off the sheets to give him more to pile it started to be to much work for me.
High School Musical
Once again I took the kids and one of Allison's friends to East high hoping to get a better peek inside.(Last time we went we only saw the cafeteria because they were waxing the floor). Even though it was UEA weekend and school was out we got in this time. We got to look in the gym. It looked like they were putting in new bleachers. Then once again we had to check out the cafeteria just because it is kinda a cool lay out. We wandered around the school and found Sharpay's pink lockers. We also checked out the front of the school and noticed 1-There is not a fountain in front of the school like in the play (very disapointing to the kids ha ha) and 2- They put a banner over the Salt Lake East highschool to just say East High. The girls had fun but I think the boys got pretty bored wondering why it was cool to look at a building.
A few days ago I took the girls to the new HSM3. It was fun for them cause they saw the parts of the school that we wandered around in. I would the the movie 5 stars I think I liked it as much as the girls. Allison said it was the best one out of all 3.

Beautiful empty dishwasher
Ok I thought I would blog about one of my favorite things. I love empty dishwashers. Ok let me refraise that. I love empty dishwashers that were emptied by someone else.
My fabulous mom comes over to help a lot and one of the things she does is she does my dishes. She not only does my dishes she loads the dishwasher and then puts them all away. When I go to the dishwasher to unload it so I can fill it up it's such a wonderful surprise to see an empty dishwasher. Ok now everyone thinks I'm crazy but hey when your busy with kids unloading the dishwasher is not my favorite job.
Thanks Mom

My little elf helper.
It is now 10:14 pm and Campbell is still awake. He is wandering around the house making messes and looking cute trying on odd things that the girls have left around. I'm not sure why he is awake I've tried numerous times to get him asleep. I guess I'll try one more time cause I'm getting ready to be done for the night.

Picture Tag
I don't usually do this tag business but I will this time just to show my sister in law I can. Your supposed to go into your Picture file and find your 4th file and your 4th picture and tell about it. Here I go.
My dad is waiting in line with Hailey at Lego land. You can see Haileys head poking up over the fence. Hailey was happy this year to be able to go on whatever she wanted.
Ok Karin are you shocked?
I am going to tag

Heads up.
When we moved back to Utah and moved in our Dimond Dr house I found a playhouse for the kids. Ok it was also for me. I've always wanted a playhouse. This playhouse is not small it is built like a real home with siding and shingles. Since it is not small it is not very easy to move to get it in our backyard we had to get a crane to get it in the yard.
Of course we had to take the playhouse with us to our new house so I had to find someone that could move it for us. It was quit the show. Everything went good nothing damaged but it was sure stressful when the house barely fit under telephone wires when driving it to the new house.
East High
On the way to the zoo we go past the famous High School musical East Highschool. I have always wanted to stop and take the kids inside, since we were going by it we decided to stop.
We Walked around the school checking doors. We actually found a door open. We went inside and found the lunch room that they use in the show. There were workers waxing the upstairs floor so we could not get upstairs to check out the other places they filmed the show like the lockers and the gym. They said to come next week when they were done. We peeked down the hall to see what we could see. The girls thought it was fun but we'll have to check it out another time when we have more freedom to roam. When we came home the girls turned on Highschool musical to check out some of the things they saw.

Ground hog
We are finally starting to settle in our new house. Packing and moving in two weeks is definitely too fast. We are adjusting to a few new things like Campbell not wanting to sleep in a crib anymore and climbing out of his bed. This week I guess the big boy bed is going to have to come out. We were happy to get all the kids in bed last night by 10. That tells you how crazy our nights have been. We live in a house full of night owls.
We our loving our house except for the unexpected guests that we have had. No, I'm not talking about Courts brother coming to visit, we loved having them over. The guest we have had came our first day in the home and Allison spotted something in the window well digging. I looked in thinking I would see a cat. It was the size of a fat cat, but not a cat . We were not sure what it was. We just new it was digging trying to get under our house. It was a bit freaky. The animal control would not come to get it. Court said to hit it with a shovel (ya right). My mom was throwing cups of water on it trying to do who knows what to it(it just made it look like a porcupine) Finally the ROUS (rodent of unusual size) jumped out of the window well making everyone scream, and then scurried down the street. What an eventful day.
Since our visit from the ground hog we have had a skunk sighting in the back yard and then we had to call a professional to suck out the bird nest in the dryer vent. I promise to all that want to visit we do not live in the wilderness just maybe a little to close to the Jordan River.

The new house
I sure wanted to keep up with this blog thing. It just is not happening. This last week has been very busy. We found a house that we liked and looked into it and now we are moving into it. this all happened within a week in a half. Wow it was quick. We are going to lease this house until our house sells and then we will buy it . The owner is very nice and is working with to help sell our house we own( he is a releator or however you spell it). It will be so nice I will not have to keep the house perfect for people to come view it, which those of you with children know it is impossible, at least with my children. We are excited but will miss everyone in our ward and neighborhood. The good part though is that the house is only about 2 miles away from our old house so we will still be able to see our friends and I may still keep the kids at the same school.

My goal for my the Browns blog
I am going to try to put in a posting at least once a week. Courtney is also going to put in a plant of the week for me. Allison is going to try to put in something once a week also. Enjoy
Pickle juice
The boys were eating the last few pickles out of the jar. The next thing I knew Campbell had picked up the pickle jar and was drinking the juice out of the jar. After he had a few drinks he dropped the jar down on the grass(thank goodness he was outside) and the juice splattered out of the jar all over him. It was all so funny I had to take a picture.
