Quilt Blocks

I have always wanted to make a quilt. I do not know how to quilt or even how to start until my friend Stephanie asked me if I wanted to be in a quilt block group. What this entailed was to make 10 blocks of two different blocks 20 in all. I decided this would be a great way to get started. Thanks to many people helping me I finally finished my 20 blocks. I had a great time making them.
The hardest part was finding time that I could work on it. the only way to get it done was to keep my sewing machine up in the corner of the kitchen so I could work on it when I had a free min. That worked out ok except for the boys always getting into my stuff. We had a few cuts on the boys from my rotary cutter and the boys broke my machine so I had to get that fixed half way through, but it sure worked good after getting it back. Other then that it was great.Here is some picture of my blocks I will keep two of these blocks and then will get 8 more from some other women. then I'll have to figure out how to put it all together. Hopefully sometime I will be able to post a picture of the quilt when it is done.

I LOVE quilting!!!! It's been ages since I've done any of it, though. Your quilt looks great. Apparently I'm your new visiting teacher. When do you appreciate visits? {dalleycats@gmail.com}
